Call Meeting to Order

Recognition of Ag Mechanics State Level achievements.  

Comments from visitors who have complied with board policy. (Reference Board Policy BED and BED-R)

CONSENT DOCKET:  All items listed are considered to be routine by the Marietta Board of Education and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate vote on these items unless a Board Member so requests, in which event the item will be removed from consent status and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda.  

The consent agenda consists of the discussion, consideration and approval of the following items:

Written minutes of Emergency Meeting due to Storm Damage on March 11, 2026, and Regular Meeting on March 2nd, 2026.  

General Fund encumbrances PO #'s 458 thru 500; Building Fund PO #'s 49 thru 53; and Payroll PO# 50145.  

Increase to General Fund PO #'s 32 and 146; and Child Nutrition PO # 32.

Annual audit contract for Marietta Public Schools for audit year 2025-26.  

Out-of-state travel request for Ag Mechanics to compete in Hartley, Texas on May 8th-10th.  

Renewal of agreement with Horizon Connect for FY 27.  

Superintendent's Report

Consider and take action on the Employer Acceptance Agreement with Oklahoma Public School Resource Center (OPSRC) in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Labor to participate in the Teacher Apprentice Program.    

Consider and take action on resignations.  

Proposed executive session to discuss the employment of a custodian for the remainder of FY26;  a Middle School Principal for FY27; and an Elementary Teacher for FY27.  25 O.S. Section 307(B)(1)

Vote to return to open session.
