2.A.1) No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Consolidated Programs
An application was submitted by MaryAnn Rotondi, outgoing LEA, on June 30, 2011 to the Minnesota Department of Education requesting allocations for Title I, Part A for students who are one or more years behind in Math and/or Reading, Title I, Part D for neglected and delinquent students, and Title II for professional development. The amounts are as follows: Title I, Part A - $2,958,708.80 Title I, Part D - $265,818.62 Title II - $596,904.41

3.A.1) Lake Superior Swim Club Formal Proposal and Presentation
Members of the Lake Superior Swim Club submitted a formal proposal to partner with the Duluth Public Schools in becoming the facilitators for the new middle school aquatic facilities. Their vision goes beyond competitive swimming. It is their desire to bring the community together and give equal access to aquatics to all.
