1. CALL TO ORDER, DECLARE A QUORUM, INVOCATION, AND PLEDGE

2. BOARD MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Board of Olton ISD is to ensure that the people in and affected by the institution have the opportunity to grow and become productive citizens of society. The trustees will delegate operational power, adopt policies, require accountability, evaluate patterns of operations, and ensure flexibility and competence. At the times the board will maintain accountability to the taxpayers and residents of the District.

3. CLOSED SESSION ITEMS

3.A. §551.074 Personnel Matters: Deliberate the Appointment, Employment, Evaluation, Reassignments, Duties, Discipline, or Dismissal of a Public Officer or Employee

3.A.1. Deliberation and possible final action to hire superintendent of schools and to authorize board president to execute superintendent employment contract.

3.A.2. Consider resignation of school board member.

3.A.3. Discuss and consider calling a Special Board Election for May 5, 2018 or consider appointment to fill school board member vacancy.

3.B. Return to Open Meeting: State Time and clarify no variance from the posted agenda in Closed Session
