3. Discuss and take possible action to approve the budget amendments as outlined by the Director of Finance under the recommendation of CPA, Dana Morgan.

4. Discuss and take possible action to approve the 2023-2024 Gifted and Talented Handbook update for the La Pryor ISD.

5. Discuss and take possible action to approve the placement of cameras on the district's school buses.

6. Discuss and take possible action to amend the Student Code of Conduct to address the cameras and consequence amendments. 

• 1st Referral - 1 week removal from bus privileges
• 2nd Referral - 2 weeks removal from bus privileges
• 3rd Referral - 1 month removal from bus privileges 
• 4th Referral - Removal of bus privileges for the rest of the school year.

7. For Information only:  Discuss the demolition process for the property owned by LPISD located at 317 North Pryor in order to bring it to the board to consider possible future housing for employees of La Pryor ISD.

8. Discuss and take possible action to carry out a district auction of excess material and the removal of any remaining unneeded material from the district after auction.

9. Discuss and take possible action to approve unannounced drug testing of all students in extra-curricular activities starting in the 2023-2024 School Year.

10. For Information Only: La Pryor ISD High School is working in conjunction with the Southwest Texas Junior College to implement a GED Program for current and past students who need to complete their requirements in the DAEP building Mondays through Thursdays from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.

11. For Information Only: Training hours must be completed by Board Members annually by November and renewed every year.

• Team of Eight Training will count for 3 hours.

12. Discuss and take possible action to approve a Tax Refund for overpayment.

13. Discuss and take possible action to approve the employment of a Counselor/Social Emotional Support Secretary.

14. Discuss and take possible action to approve a date and time for the Superintendent's Evaluation.

15. Discuss and take possible action to approve Local Board Policy similar to how it has been applied in the past, which states that the superintendent will have the final authority to employ teachers and counselors from April 15 - August 15 with final authority reverting back to the board after that date.

16. Closed Session - Adjourn to closed Session pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.001 et seq. Specifically, Personnel, to deliberate regarding the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee (Texas Government Code section 551.074); and/or Consultation with Attorney, to discuss personnel, resignations, and other personnel items (Texas Government Code section 551.071).
