6.A. Discuss recommendations for the district’s Safety and Security Committee regarding updating the district's multi-hazard EOP in accordance with best practices identified by TEA, the TxSSC, or a person included in the registry established by the TxSSC (i.e., a safety consultant)

6.A.1. Discuss the reunification annex for the Emergency Operations Plan

6.A.2. Discuss drill planning and goals for the 2026-2027 school year

6.B. Discuss information for the district concerning any campus, facility, or support services in connection with the safety and security audit, a safety and security audit report, or other reports the district is required to submit to the TxSSC

6.B.1. Review report on weekly door inspection logs as submitted to TxSSC

6.B.2. Review reports on recent Detection Audits conducted on April 23, 2026, and May 7, 2026, and findings

6.B.3. Discuss modifications to Bleeding Control / AED Stations

6.B.4. Discuss the district's Biannual Maintenance Review

6.B.5. Review annual drill logs as submitted to TxSSC for the 2025-2026 school year

6.B.6. Review district calendar as submitted to TxSSC

6.B.7. Discuss submission of the Safe and Supportive School Program (SSSP) report to TEA

6.C. Discuss consultations with local law enforcement agencies on methods to increase law enforcement presence near district campuses.

6.D. Review reports the district is required to submit to the TxSSC to ensure that the reports contain accurate and complete information regarding each campus, facility, or support service in accordance with criteria established by the TxSSC

6.E. Discuss preparations for Cardiac Response compliance by the 2027-2028 school year

6.F. Review 2026 Safety and Security Symposium

7. Closed Meeting:  A Closed Meeting may be held for discussion under the provisions of Texas Government Code Section 551.071, 551.072, 551.073, 551.074, 551.076, 551.082, & 551.089 pursuant to HISD Policy BEC
