5.A. Approve Minutes of the Safety and Security Committee Meeting on September, 18, 2025.

6. Information/Discussion Agenda Items

7. Closed Meeting:  A Closed Meeting may be held for discussion under the provisions of Texas Government Code Section 551.071, 551.072, 551.073, 551.074, 551.076, 551.082, & 551.089 pursuant to HISD Policy BEC

7.A. Discuss recommendations for the district’s Safety and Security Committee regarding updating the district's multi-hazard EOP in accordance with best practices identified by TEA, the TxSSC, or a person included in the registry established by the TxSSC.

7.B. Review reports the district is required to submit to the TxSSC to ensure that the reports contain accurate and complete information regarding each campus, facility, or support service in accordance with criteria established by the TxSSC.

7.B.1. Review of the Three-year Safety and Security Audit (2024-2026) report.

7.C. Discuss information for the district concerning any campus, facility, or support services in connection with the safety and security audit, a safety and security audit report, or other reports the district is required to submit to the TxSSC or TEA.

7.C.1. Review of Weekly Door Inspection Logs.

7.C.2. Review of Intruder Detection Inspection recent results.

7.C.3. Hear a report on the Bi-Annual Maintenance Review.

7.D. Hear a report on 2025 Evacuation and Reunification Exercise.

7.E. Bleeding Control Stations - Modifications

7.F. Hear and update on Cardiac Response Compliance (required for school year 2027-2028).

7.G. Report on improvements to HHS's drill plan.

7.H. Discuss consultations with local law enforcement agencies on methods to improve law enforcement response to district incidents.

8. Consider possible action on items discussed in Closed Session.
