Description:  All matters listed under the CONSENT AGENDA are considered routine and will be enacted in one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a member(s) of the City Council requests one or more items be removed from the CONSENT AGENDA to the REGULAR AGENDA for separate discussion and action prior to the City Council's vote to adopt the CONSENT AGENDA.

Description:  On a Resolution ordering a Special Election by the qualified voters of the Town of Horizon City, Texas on May 6, 2023 for the purpose of filling a vacancy in the office of Council Member, Place 4 for the Town of Horizon City, and to designate the main early voting location, dates and hours for early voting and for voting on Saturday and Sunday and the early voting clerk’s official mailing address; and to authorize the City Clerk to make any necessary revisions to the dates and times for the early voting prior to publishing the notice of the election and to authorize the Mayor to sign amendments to the contract with the El Paso County Elections Administrator necessitated by the special election. 

Description:  The City Council of the Town of Horizon City reserves the right to adjourn into executive session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed above, as authorized by Texas Government Code Sections 551.071 (Consultation with Attorney), 551.072 (Deliberations about Real Property), 551.073 (Deliberations about Gifts and Donations), 551.074 (Personnel Matters), 551.076 (Deliberations about Security Devices,) and 551.086 (Economic Development).
