Public Comment on Agenda Items

Public participation is limited to the designated public comment portion of the meeting.  In accordance with District Policy BED (Local), the Board may impose reasonable time limits on this portion of the meeting.  Persons who wish to address the board shall submit a request by 5:00 PM before the meeting begins and shall indicate the topic about which they wish to speak.  Only items on the agenda may be addressed and items not on the agenda will be directed to the Superintendent or designee.  No presentation shall exceed five minutes (ten minutes if a translator is required).  Delegations of more than five persons shall appoint one person to present their views before the Board.

Action Agenda

Consider approving the Tax Rate Calculation Form as an Appendix to the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Budget, as recommended by the administration.

Consider approving to adopt the resolution regarding the setting of maintenance & operations tax rate at $0.7869/$100 pursuant to the Governor's disaster declarations resulting from the severe storms and flooding event that took place on March 27, 2025, which increases the M&O tax rate by .0317 disaster pennies, as recommended by the administration.

Consider approving an order authorizing defeasance and redemption of a portion of the District's outstanding unlimited tax bonds and approving all instruments, and procedures related thereto, as recommended by the administration.
