1.G.5. Syracuse Junior High CTE Center Remodel (exhibit)

Description:
The former O’Reilly Auto Parts building, adjacent to Syracuse Junior High School will be renovated into a CTE Center. The new facility will contain two flexible classrooms that can be opened to create a large collaboration space. A small prototyping shop and "clean lab" will also be part of this project. The worn out, existing HVAC system will be replaced. The building will get new exterior finishes and roof system. A new sidewalk connection to Syracuse Junior High School will be added to allow student access from the building. Construction will begin immediately and is expected to be complete in January 2024.

1.G.6. Holt Elementary Waterline Replacement (exhibit)

Description:
The existing galvanized water lines throughout Holt Elementary School will be replaced with new copper pipes. The old lines have corroded and spring leaks in the building. The new lines will reduce leaks, improve water pressure, and get rid of the "rusty" colored water. The exterior water line serving the building will also be replaced. Work will begin in June and will be complete by mid-August.

1.G.7. Teen Center Renovation – Phase 2 (exhibit)

Description:
New Teen Centers will be constructed at Syracuse High School and Viewmont High School. At Syracuse High School, a classroom and the adjacent collaboration space on the north wing of the building will be converted. At Viewmont High School, the un-used gymnasium foyer on the north side of the building will be renovated. The configuration is different at each school. Both will have showers, changing rooms, laundry, private study areas, wellness spaces, and food pantries. Construction will begin immediately and is expected to be completed this fall.
