Presenter:

Description:
Viewmont High School Head Coach Bailee Hadlock and her two Assistants, Sierra Edmunds and Brooke Hadlock, coached 31 talented girls this year as they pushed through many unexpected challenges, never gave up, and defended their title as Region 5 Drill Team State Champions. In addition to 2nd place in Region and back-to-back state titles, the military routine earned them three 1st places, 2nd at Region, and 2nd at State; the dance routine received two 1st places, one 2nd place, 2nd at Region, and 3rd at State; and the show routine received three 1stplaces, one 3rd place, and 1st in Region and State! These talented girls also have a combined average GPA of 3.724. The Viewmont Vykelles Roster includes:

1.G.6. Sunset Junior High School Rebuild Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) (exhibit)

Description:
Hogan & Associates Construction, the Construction Manager/General Contractor, has bid the Sunset Junior High School Rebuild project to subcontractors. The bids have been evaluated and a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for the project has been established. Construction of the new building will take place in the playfield adjacent to the existing building. When complete, the school will move into the new building and the existing building will be demolished. Parking lots and new playfields will then be constructed. Work will begin immediately and is expected to be complete in June 2025.

1.G.7. Woods Cross Elementary Chiller Replacement (exhibit)

Description:
The chiller and cooling tower at Woods Cross Elementary, which provide the air conditioning for the building, have reached the end of their useful lives, and will be replaced. The building controls for the new equipment will be updated. Replacement parts will be ordered and installed over the summer. The project is expected to be complete by Mid-August.

Description:
The chiller and cooling tower at Canyon Heights Adult Learning Center are worn out. Replacement parts will be installed as soon as they can be obtained. Building controls for the new equipment will also be installed. This work will be completed this summer and ready for the new school year.

Description:
The fans that turn inside the air handler units which supply the ventilation air at Holt Elementary have worn out. The air handler units will be disassembled, and the fans replaced inside. Work is expected to begin in June and completed in August.

1.G.10. Clearfield High School Addition and Remodel Architect Selection (exhibit)

Description:
The Bond passed in November 2022 lists a project at Clearfield High School. A master plan detailing a phased replacement of the existing facility will be developed. The money allocated in the Bond will be used to complete the first phase of the new master plan. Subsequent phases will rely on future Bonds for funding. The District Professional Services Selection Committee evaluated proposals and interviewed several architectural firms to select an architect for the project. Development of the master plan will begin immediately with design and construction of phase one to follow.

Description:
A classroom addition will be added to Layton High School consisting of new science rooms, CTE food lab, music rooms, and other classrooms. Existing spaces occupied by the science rooms, food lab, and music rooms will be remodeled into classrooms. The District Professional Services Selection Committee evaluated proposals and interviewed several architectural firms to select an architect for the project. Design work will begin immediately with construction to follow.

An addition and remodel to Bountiful High School will construct a new Administrative Office Suite and Counseling Center. A new media center and Teen Center will also be constructed. Air conditioning of the remaining portion of the building will be completed. Design work will begin immediately with construction to follow.
