1.E.2. Land Sale Proposal (exhibit)
Presenter:
Mr. Tim Leffel
Description:
We have been approached by a developer that is building a subdivision just to the east of the property on 1800 N and 4500 west in West Point. In order to obtain the required access to their property, they would need to continue 4350 West to the north, which would go directly into our property. They are proposing that we sell approximately 2.5 acres on the far east side of our existing lot. The total acreage of this property is 16.5 acres. We currently plan on about 12 acres for an elementary, so we would still have ample room for a future school. If we are willing to entertain an offer for this property, we would instruct the developer to obtain an appraisal, and we would bring any potential offer to the Board for approval.
