5.A. At this time, the Board will convene in Closed Session to discuss the following item posted on our Agenda as allowed by the Texas Government Code:
Agenda Item 7, pursuant to Texas Government Code Sections 551.071 and 551.074, to deliberate regarding the employment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public employee, specifically the revocation of the contingent employment agreement offered to a candidate for the Chief of Police position, and to consult with legal counsel regarding the same. No voting will take place in Closed Session. Any action the Board wishes to take as a result of the discussions in Closed Session will take place after the Board reconvenes in Open Session. |
