8.C.1. North Valley HS teacher and FBLA advisor Deborah Acosta requests approval to accept $3,500 in CTSO (Careen & Technical Student Organizations) grant funds. The funds will be used to help pay rooming costs at the state FBLA conference in April 2017.

8.C.2. North Valley HS teacher and Skills USA advisor Ken Klumpp requests approval to accept up to $2,500 in CTSO (Career & Technical Student Organizations) grant funds. The funds will be used to pay for advisor and student travel costs as well as an additional stipend for the Skills USA advisor.

8.C.3. North Valley HS teacher and FIRST Robotics Team coach Peter Lentz requests the board to approve the acceptance of $3,134 awarded to the NVHS FIRST Robotics Team through their affiliation with FIRST Robotics. The bulk of the money has already been used to pay the registration fees for the two competitions in which their team will compete.

8.C.4. Director Jessica Durrant would like to apply for a grant with AllCare Health for activities to take place from January 2016-June 2018. The focus of the training is centered around Trauma Informed Care and how we as a school district can support students and families at all levels.
