5.D.1. North Valley teacher Michelle Mayers requests approval for out of state travel to Seattle, Washington November 18-22, 2010 to attend the Western International Band Clinic. The cost of the conference is to be paid out of the schools' district music account. There is the possibility of one student attending who has auditioned for the honor band. (It will not be known until Nov. 1st if she has made it).

5.D.2. Federal Programs Director Peter Maluk requests approval for out of state travel for Peg Cowens, the district TOSA math coach, to atttend the Presenter's Academy in Los Gatos, California on October 26-28, 2010. The travel is covered and required by a Co-Facilitators Mentoring Grant that we received specifically for the purposes of covering the costs of Peg's time and training related to her work with the New Teacher Center which provides mentor training in Oregon.

5.D.3. Hidden Valley High School teacher Ben Lawson is seeking approval for out of state travel to attend the Western International Band Clinic ibn Seattle, Washington, November 19-22, 2010. Ben Lawson and 2-4 selected students will participate in this event. Teachers Professional Development funds will be requested to cover the expenses for the teacher. If students attend, their expenses will be paid for themselves and the balance from Student Body fundraising.

5.D.4. Hidden Valley High School teacher Julie Bickle requests approval for out of state travel to Italy during Spring Break of 2011, March 18-26, 2011. Students and adults will pay for the trip. There is no cost to the district. Ms. Bickle is requesting one Personal Day on March 18, 2011 in which she will pay for the sub costs.
