I. CALL TO ORDER

I.A. Announcement in the Board room by presiding officer that a quorum is present, that the meeting has been duly called, and that notice of the meeting has been duly posted for time and manner required by law.

discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee, including discussing complaints,
hiring, resignation, termination, proposal for non renewal, proposal for termination,
evaluation, promotion or demotion of personnel. Gov't Code 551.074

II.B. Deliberating the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property. Gov't Code 551.072

II.C. Deliberation regarding security devices, personnel deployment, or security audits. Gov't Code 551.076.

VI. CONSENT AGENDA

VI.A. Consideration with possible action to approve the interlocal agreement with Ellis County for the 2022-2023 school year. 

VI.B. Consideration with possible action to approve participation in TASB Risk Management Fund for Unemployment Compensation insurance pool for the coverage period of October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023 with a contribution amount of $55,324.

VI.C. Consideration with possible approval of the public purpose declaration of principal resident stipends as stated on the 2021-2022 stipend schedule.  

VI.D. Consideration with possible action to approve the renewal of worker's compensation insurance with TPS for the 2022-2023 school year at a cost of $312,441.

VI.E. Consideration with possible approval to renew property/casualty, auto liability, and school board legal liability insurance coverage with TPS for the 2022-2023 school year at a cost of $1,058,127.

VI.F. Consideration with possible action to approve a contract with IXL Learning for continuation of services for grades 3-8 for the online learning management system for students.

VII.C. Consideration with possible action to adopt a tax rate of $1.3268 per $100 in valuation, made up of maintenance and operations rate of $0.9429 and interest and sinking rate of $0.3839.
