1. CALL TO ORDER - Establish Quorum

2. ADJOURN TO CLOSED SESSION pursuant to the following sections of the Texas Government Code with reference to the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, Subchapters D and E or Texas Government Code section 551.071, and 551.074. Action may be taken on items listed under Closed Session once Board returns to Open Session.

2.A. Texas Government Code 551.071: Private consultation with the Board's attorney on all subjects or matter authorized by law

2.A.1. When the governmental body seeks the advice of its attorney about:

2.A.1.a. pending or contemplated litigation; or

2.A.1.b. a settlement offer

2.A.2. On a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the school district under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of professional conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with the Open Meetings Act

2.B. Texas Government Code 551.074: Discussion of contract recommendations for Teachers and professional Support Staff

2.B.1. Consider hiring LISD and Southeast Texas Cooperative for Special Services personnel

2.C. Texas Government Code 551.074: For the purpose of considering the appointment, employment, resignation, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of a public officer or employee

2.C.1. Discussion regarding the retirement of the Superintendent
 

2.C.2. Discussion regarding the appointment and employment of a new Superintendent

3. RECONVENE IN OPEN SESSION

4.A. Consider and take possible action on the Superintendent's voluntary retirement agreement

4.B. Consider and take possible action regarding the hiring procedures and employment of a new Superintendent
