A drawing to determine the order of candidates' names on the ballot was held on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 5:30pm in the Leakey ISD Cafetorium. A notice was posted on the District bulletin board and website on Thursday, February 13, 2025; candidates were notified by email the same day.

6.C. Presentation of the District's Debt Transparency Report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024. School Districts are annually required to compile and report on specific debt/financial information as of the last day of the preceding fiscal year (CFA-Legal). Debt information is also included in the District's Annual Financial & Compliance Report (audit). No action; information only.

11.F.1. The Texas State Comptroller has released the Preliminary Results of the 2024 Property Value Study. The 2024 values assessed by the Real Central Appraisal District have been determined to be invalid (again) and have not been certified. 

"THE SDPVS FOUND YOUR LOCAL VALUE TO BE INVALID, AND STATE VALUE WAS CERTIFIED BECAUSE YOUR SCHOOL DISTRICT WAS NOT VALID IN THE LAST TWO STUDIES."

11.F.2. Information: 2025-2026 Budget Preparation has begun. The administration will be working throughout the next couple of months to prepare a working draft of the proposed budget that will be presented to the Board at a Budget Workshop to be held in May. Variables such as projected enrollment, property tax revenue, and payroll will be discussed and reviewed as part of this process. Stay tuned.
