Wellness Warriors 2015-2016 Schuyler Community Schools Chair- Carol Reha- SMS, Preschool, Rural Vice Chair- Pat Knutson- SMS Sec/Treas Paula Kment -SMS Human Resources- Marlene Hartman-SCHS Members: Paula Kment SMS, Sue Steffenmeier-SMS, Laurie Novacek-SMS, Tami Wilshusen SMS Deb Gonsior- Fishers, Kady Arps- SMS, Adrianne Didier- SES, Barbara Raya- Preschool Members Present: Carol Reha, Pat Knutson, Paula Kment, Sue Steffenesmeier, Lauri Novacek, Tami Wilshusen, Deb Gonsior, Adrianna Didier Agenda for Tuesday 9/29/2015 Meeting at 7:15 AM in the SMS Tech Conference room- NE wing of school We received The Governors Award of Excellence in Wellness, at the Safety and Wellness Conference on 9/24/2015. Schuyler is one of the fourteen schools that received the Governor’s Award. Schuyler was the only school invited to Governor’s mansion to be interviewed with regard to the Award we received, well done Schuyler!!! Seven Wellness Warriors attended! We will discuss the highlights of the meeting.
A new company will be used for our Personal Health Assessments this year. This will happen either in November or December. Carol send out information to the district when a date has been set with the company. This is the computer based assessment. We are in the process of having Lifeline Screening return this year- we will discuss.
Fall EHA Wellness Training sites will be discussed we would like at least 2 members to attend. Flu Shot Clinic SCS employee and spouse can get the shot covered under BCBS. This will be done October 12th. Next meeting: November 3rd @ 7:15 AM Respectfully submitted, Paula Kment |
