Description:  As the Chairperson of the Operating Committee conducts this meeting, it will not be necessary to announce each Director's name for each vote. If, however, a Director or Directors wish to vote NO, that Director shall so state. The Chairperson of this OC shall call for the vote on a motion and if a Director does not vocally record a No vote, that Director's vote shall be considered a YES vote. The Chairperson of this OC shall utilize roll call voting as required by law or at his or her discretion.

• Plasma Table delivered to Welding- operational! (Perkins)
• Policy Review-  Mr. Crosson and I continue to meet w/ Mr. Varner, Mr. Aurand, Mr. DeArment, and Mrs. Fultz to review policies.  
• Penn College delivered the new electrical equipment to our electrical installation program.  Currently working on having it set for visitors.  
• OAC meeting is set for Wednesday, 10/21.  Culinary Arts will provide a dinner beforehand.  Thank you, Mr. McCullough!
• Thank you, Nicolette Cusate, for hosting students from PSU on Saturday, 10/3.  They were here to view our Greenhouse and obtain tips on funding, implementation, and operations of a Greenhouse in a CTE program.

• Deborah Field, from Summit Early Learning Center, came to the ECE classroom on September 17th to conduct CACFP training with both sessions.  (Food Program)
• Bryan Boyd, CO-OP Coordinator, is attending the Pennsylvania Cooperative Education Association Conference at the Penn Stater Hotel from October 15-16.
• Shelly Waters and Jennifer Dressler will be attending DITEP Training at the TIU on October 21 and October 22.(Drug Impairment Training for Education Professionals)
• Steve Hogle is taking his Electrical Installation students to the Electrical Expo 2026 in King of Prussia, PA, on October 22, 2026
• Matt Kreider, Jen Dressler, and Stacey Wertz-Mann are taking Construction Trades students to Penn College on 10/27 to tour the Concrete Science/Masonry program
• Jon Aumiller and Shelly Waters are attending the PSU CTE Summit in State College, PA, on October 28th — Teacher strategies, Safety in the classroom, Re-engaging students.  
• Katlyn Kreider is taking her Early Childhood Education students to East Derry Elementary on 10/30 to participate in an elementary/secondary program.  (PBIS)
• Katlyn Kreider is taking her Early Childhood Education students to Indian Valley Elementary on 11/6 to participate in an elementary/secondary program. (PBIS)
• Katlyn Kreider is taking her Early Childhood Education students to Lewistown Elementary on 11/13 to participate in an elementary/secondary program.  (PBIS)

Description:  EADS Group, Inc. will provide engineering services for the
preparation of Building Permit Drawings, a Land Development Plan including a Stormwater Management Report, and an Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plan for the installation of new Storage Containers and associated site improvements to the Academy Property.  This is to satisfy the expectations set forth by Derry Township, its township manager, and its zoning officer.
