Description:  As the Chairperson of the Operating Committee conducts this meeting, it will not be necessary to announce each Director's name for each vote. If, however, a Director or Directors wish to vote NO, that Director shall so state. The Chairperson of this OC shall call for the vote on a motion and if a Director does not vocally record a No vote, that Director's vote shall be considered a YES vote. The Chairperson of this OC shall utilize roll call voting as required by law or at his or her discretion.

Description: 

• Thank you to the staff for the beginning of the year starting off well!
• Congratulations to our Welding Program for obtaining a Remote Testing Facility Certification from the Welder Training and Testing Institute 
• Held New Parent Orientation- 8/27/2026
• First Meeting held with Kurt Adam-CTDSL- 9/3
• Met with MCHS Administration- 9/3
• Perkins Update- New Plasma Table to be delivered week of 9/14
• Policy Review-  Mr. Crosson and I have begun meeting with Mr. Aurand, Mr. DeArment, Mr. Varner, and Mrs. Fultz once a week to review policies.  We are moving forward with updating the policy manual, and expect to have policies coming in quite frequently starting at the October OC meeting.  Thank you Mr. Crosson for all your hard work and efforts already with this task!

Description: 

• Community Day- 9/26-  Local Organizations participating(Juniata County Prevention Board, American Heart Association)  CTSOs and classes have activities planned.  
• Ms Wright- Harrisburg University — visiting 10/21 to Health Professions (What they can offer our students) 
• Ms. Wright- Central Penn- visiting on 10/5 to discuss healthcare related programs offered 
• Ms. Dressler will be having Penn College and Pennsylvania Institute of Aeronautics in to speak to student interested in October. 
• Ms. Dressler, Mr. Boyd, Ms. Wright, and Ms. Mann-Wertz will be taking students from the Health Professions and Mechatronics Programs to South Hills in State College on 10/2 for post-secondary exploration.  
• Penn College- Donation of Electrical Equipment- result of our continued involvement with Penn College and their dual enrollment program.  (More to come!)
