8.3 Consider hiring Curt Woodford of Pottsville, PA as the Head Wrestling Coach for the 2026-2027 school year.  Salary per the Collective Bargaining Agreement.  Clearances on file.

8.4 Consider adding Patrick McNamara of Williamstown, PA as a driver for the 2026-2027 school year, employed through Ravine Transportation.  Clearances on file.

10.2 Consider a rental request from WVES PTO to use Elementary Classroom #267 on October 23, December 4, 2026, January 15 & March 12, 2027 (8:00 am - 3:15 pm).  Purpose: Elementary School Store.

10.3 Consider waiving the rental and custodial fees for the use of Elementary Classroom #267 on October 23, December 4, 2026, January 15 & March 12, 2027 as requested by WVES PTO.

10.4 Consider a rental request from WVES PTO to use the Elementary Gymnasium on October 23, November 20, 2026, January 8, January 22, February 19 & February 26, 2027 (5:15 pm - 8:30 pm).  Purpose: Elementary Dances.

10.5 Consider waiving the rental and custodial fees for the use of the Elementary Gymnasium on October 23, November 20, 2026, January 8, January 22, February 19 & February 26, 2027 as requested by the WVES PTO.

10.8 Consider a rental request from Archery to use the High School Auditorium on September 29, 2026 (4:00 pm - 9:00 pm).  Purpose: PA Game Commission Archery Meeting.

10.9 Consider waiving the rental and custodial fees for the use of the High School Auditorium on September 29, 2026 as requested by Archery.

10.10 Consider a rental request from Williams Valley Volleyball Boosters to use the High School Lobby on October 12, 2026 (5:00 pm - 7:00 pm).  Purpose: Fundraiser pickup.

10.11 Consider waiving the rental and custodial fees for the use of the High School Lobby on October 12, 2026 as requested by the Williams Valley Volleyball Boosters.

10.12 Consider a rental request from Williams Valley Archery to use the High School Cafeteria on October 21, 2026 (5:30 pm - 7:30 pm).  Purpose: Sign-ups for 2026-2027 season.

10.13 Consider waiving the rental and custodial fees for the use of the High School Cafeteria on October 21, 2026 as requested by the Williams Valley Archery.

10.14 Consider a rental request from Williams Valley Archery to use the High School Cafeteria and High School Gymnasium on January 29, 2027 (5:00 pm Set-up) and January 30, 2027 (6:00 am - 8:00 pm).  Purpose: Archery Tournament.

10.15 Consider waiving the rental and custodial fees for the use of the High School Cafeteria and High School Gymnasium on January 29 & January 30, 2027 as requested by the Williams Valley Archery.

 

11. EXTRA-CURRICULAR
11.1 Consider the following fundraiser and activity request from WV Elementary.  Fundraiser: Caring for Classrooms (October 30, 2026 - May 1, 2027).  Activity: Students ask families to donate to Caring for Classrooms online - students earn prizes from the company.  Purpose: Earn funds for teacher's classrooms.

11.2 Consider the following fundraiser request from Yearbook.  Fundraiser: Yearbooks (September 2026 - June 2027), Yard Signs (September 2026 - June 2027), Congratulatory Ads (September 2026 - June 2027) and Old Yearbooks (September 2026 - June 2027).  Purpose: To lower the cost of yearbooks for students.

11.3 Consider the following activity request from the Class of 2028.  Activity: Kickball Tournament (October 20, 2026).  Purpose: Prom Fundraiser.

12. FINANCE
12.1 Consider an agreement between Williams Valley School District and Pine Grove Area School District to provide Deaf/Hard of Hearing Services, PCA/Paraprofessional support and Occupational Therapy for the 2026-2027 school year at a prorated rate.

12.2 Consider a service agreement with Johnson Controls for the High School and Elementary Buildings, for the 2026-2027 school year.

13. OTHER
13.1 Consider approving the literacy kit donations from Reading Fundamental.  RIF is the nation's leading children's literacy non-profit, and we are partnering with Amazon to provide 200 literacy kits for K-2 students at Williams Valley Elementary.  Each kit includes 3 new books, a bookmark, and take-home literacy activities.  There is no cost to the district.

14.2 The next regularly scheduled meetings will be held on October 8, 2026 in the Jr/Sr High School Board Room-Executive Session for Board Members/Administrators only at 6:00 p.m. and Regular Board meeting at 7:00 p.m.
