II. Board Work Session — Board Relations
Description:
The Board will participate in a workshop on board relations facilitated by Dr. Nicole Crackel of H2 Leadership. The workshop is intended to strengthen Board effectiveness by focusing on communication, collaboration, governance, and the roles and responsibilities of Board members. Through discussion and interactive activities, participants will explore strategies for fostering productive working relationships and supporting effective governance.

III.A. Policy Committee Meeting
Description:
The policy committee will meet prior to the August 10, 2026 Board of Education regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the annual policy updates released by Thrun Law.

III.B. Board Workshop - Open Meetings Act
Description:
Brad Banasik from MASB will conduct a workshop on the topic of the Open Meetings Act. His available dates for the workshop are in the evening on August 24th or September 14th.
