4.1. Guidelines for Public Comment
The Board President will follow Board Policy 903 (attached). The public comment period will be limited to 30 minutes at the beginning of the meeting. The Board Secretary will acknowledge first those who wish to comment on agenda items. If there is time remaining, general public comment will be taken. Once the allotted time has expired, any remaining general comments will be reserved for the public comment period at the end of the meeting. Public comment is limited to three (3) minutes per participant registered with the Board Secretary in advance of the meeting. No participant may cede his/her time to another participant. Comment registration slips are located on the table at the entrance to the Board Room. The Board Secretary will acknowledge those participants who are registered to come forward to the podium to address the Board during the public comment period. |

Ratification of Intermediate Unit 1: The Administration is recommending ratification of the Harrisburg School District's participation in the 2026–2027 Prioritizing Attracting, Preparing, and Retaining School Psychologists: Delivering Mental Health Services to Students in High-Need LEAs Grant through Intermediate Unit 1 and the Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network (PaTTAN), and acceptance of a $60,000 subaward ($30,000 per intern) to support two paid school psychology internships for the period of July 1, 2026, through May 31, 2027, at no cost to the District.
