3.A. Policy 204.1 Virtual Attendance and Wellness Checks
Description:
A new section "School District Enrollee Wellness Checks" was added to PA School Code requiring school districts to adopt a policy compliant with the provisions of the law. The law requires weekly wellness checks to ensure each student is visibly seen and communicated with in real time. The statute refers to "teacher, administrator or other representative of the school district." For policy purposes, the PSBA template language encompasses the individuals as "district employee/representative." |

3.B. Policy 249 Bullying/Cyberbullying
Description:
Policy 249 was last updated in 2023. The policy requires review every three years.
The Omnibus Bill amended PA School code and policy updates were released in August 2026 to include defined terms for AI or Modified Media and Cyberbullying. Policy language was added to include procedures for investigating a report of alleged bullying and cyberbullying.

6.A. Policy 918 Title I Parental and Family Engagement is under review. Dr. Runkle, the district's Title I Federal Programs Coordinator, is in the process of gathering feedback from stakeholders. Once feedback has been received from the elementary buildings and PTO organizations, the policy will be brought forward for formal committee review.
