Description:
Policy 716 updates clarify integrated pest management requirements, including notification timelines, pesticide application signage, and state-aligned definitions. The curriculum integration requirement was removed due to its expiration in state academic standards. Adoption is recommended to reduce legal liability.

The administration proposes an update to Policy 912.1 for the purpose of providing clarification between research projects of Cumberland Valley High School students (e.g. a science fair project) and the research of an external college, graduate or doctoral students. |

Description:
Cumberland Valley High School (CVHS) Ski Club - Forty (40) to ninety (90) CVHS Ski and Snowboard Club students are requesting to travel to Attitash, Wildcat, and Sunapee Mountains in New Hampshire. The students will travel by charter bus departing February 4, 2027 and returning February 7, 2027. Four (4) to eight (8) chaperones will accompany the students. CVHS Social Studies Department - Up to fifty (50) Cumberland Valley High School Students enrolled in History 103 - US History I will travel to Boston Massachusetts, for the 250th Boston Tea Party Re-enactment from December 15 - December 17, 2026. Up to six (6) chaperones will accompany the students. |

Description:
The Cumberland Valley School District Board of School Directors encourages participation in public comment from residents or taxpayers of the Townships of Hampden, Middlesex, Monroe and Silver Spring.
Per board policy, individuals must complete and submit a comment card prior to the start of the public comment period. Speakers will be acknowledged by the chairperson after submitting the completed card. Each speaker will be allotted five (5) minutes for public comment. Members of the public may also send written communications to the full Board of School Directors and the Superintendent via the email address: Schoolboard@cvschools.org. |

The Redistribution Committee of the School Board of Directors will hold a public meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2026, in the auditorium at the Ninth Grade Academy ("CV9") located at 451 Skyport Road, Mechanicsburg, PA, to share the recommended plan for the adjustment elementary and middle school attendance boundaries effective at the start of the 2027-2028 school year. Residents and taxpayers will have an opportunity to make public comment at the public meeting.
