• That the Board approves the change orders for the Carlynton Jr./Sr. HS Production Studio, as attached.

• All five change orders relate to the Carlynton Junior-Senior High School Production Studio / Shop Renovation project and amend previously awarded prime construction contracts.
• Merit Electrical Group, Inc.- EC 001: Adds infrastructure for an additional data drop in Classroom B220B1; $1,343.48 increase.
• R&B Mechanical, Inc. - MPC 001: Provides supplemental steel for the gravity relief fan roof curb; $3,658.05 increase.
• R&B Mechanical, Inc. - MPC 002: Provides additional ductwork drops and transfer-air modifications in Room B220B1. The change includes a $2,362.50 addition and a $1,200.00 credit for the deletion of work related to relocation of the acid waste vent, resulting in a net increase of $1,162.50.
• Graham Construction - GC 001: Demolition and removal of approximately 90 linear feet of bulkheads; $4,887.50 increase.
• Graham Construction - GC 002: Preparation and painting in Room B220B1; $1,744.78 increase.
• The five change orders result in a combined net increase of $12,796.31.
• The combined original prime contract value for Merit Electrical, R&B Mechanical, and Graham Construction was $941,090.00. If all five change orders are approved, the combined contract value will increase to $953,886.31.
• Each of the change-order forms states that the contract time is unchanged; no additional contract days are being requested.

• That the Board approves the change orders for the Carnegie Elementary Construction Project, as attached. 

Relevant Facts

• GC-01 consists of time-and-material work for the added bulkhead. Massaro CM Services reports that the associated time and material slips have been verified.
• PC-01 eliminates heat trace that Enders Plumbing determined was not required to complete the work.
• EC-01 provides the corresponding electrical credit because power is no longer required for the deleted heat trace.

Budget Impact: 

• $23,770.49 (net decrease)

• That the Board approves Resolution 2026-09: PDE eSignature Affirmation.

• PDE needs a copy of Board-approved resolutions authorizing one person in the LEA to use eSignature to sign off on grants and applications on behalf of the LEA.
