• There was no executive session held prior to the Board Work Session Meeting on September 14, 2026.
• There was an executive session held after the Board Work Session Meeting on September 14, 2026, to discuss personnel and legal matters.
• There is currently no executive session scheduled prior to or after the Regular Board Meeting on September 21, 2026.

Description: 

There are two opportunities for public comment during the Board Meeting. At this time, we will entertain public comments as they pertain to or address any items listed on this agenda for board action/discussion within the following parameters pursuant to Board Policy No. 903 — public participation in board meetings. At the end of the meeting, there is another opportunity for public comment on any issue or concern. 

The Board requires that public participants be:

• Residents, taxpayers, employees, or students of the District.
• A representative of a firm eligible to bid on materials or services solicited by the Board.
• A representative of a group in the School District may only speak if they have registered their intent.

To keep the meeting length within reasonable limits, each statement made by a participant not registered with the Board Secretary at least three (3) days in advance of the meeting shall be limited to two (2) minutes in duration. Individuals who register with the Board Secretary at least three (3) days in advance of the meeting will be limited to five (5) minutes. The portion of the meeting during which the public is invited to speak shall be limited to thirty (30) minutes.  No participant may speak more than once on the same topic unless all others who wish to speak on that topic have been heard.  All statements shall be directed to the presiding officer; no participant may address or question Board members individually. The presiding officer may refer the statement to another School District official. 

Participants must be recognized by the presiding officer and must preface their comments with an announcement of their name, address, and group affiliation, if applicable.

The presiding officer may:

• Request any individual to leave the meeting when that person does not observe reasonable decorum.
• Request the assistance of law enforcement officers to remove a disorderly person when the person's conduct interferes with the orderly progress of the meeting.
• Call a recess or adjourn to another time when the lack of public decorum interferes with the orderly conduct of the meeting.
• Waive these rules with the approval of the Board.

Please remember to be polite and respectful of everyone present. Board meetings do not function in a "town hall" fashion with back-and-forth discussion on public comment. The Board will take your comments under consideration and ask for clarification if needed. If required, the Board will respond to the issue at a later date.
