I. Goals of the Committee
|

I.A. Families & Community: NPSD will use the results from a Community Survey, Parent Survey, and Staff Survey to discuss and create long-term goals with the new District Administrator.
Teaching & Learning: NPSD will increase the percentage of students performing at or above grade-level proficiency in English Language Arts and Mathematics by 5% as measured by state assessments and local benchmark assessments. Teaching & Learning: All Schools at NPSD will have an overall attendance of 95% or higher. |

Description:
The meeting will be called to order by the Chair. In the absence of the Chair, the meeting will be called to order by one of the members of the Committee. There are three committee members; therefore, at least two members must be in attendance to establish a quorum and conduct business.
Committee meetings are posted and open to the public in accordance with Open Meeting Laws. |

II.H. Committee Annual Goals
Description:
In July Board Members begin conversation of possible goals for the upcoming school year. The goals will be developed during July and August Committee and Board Meetings with final approval at the August Board Meeting unless the Board requires another month. The current Board of Education goals are listed at the top of this agenda and were developed with the same process last year. Goals are developed annually based on four areas of focus for the Board; Teaching & Learning, Human Resources, Families & Community and Facilities & Operations. Final goals take into account results of the prior year, staff, community and parent survey data, academic outcomes and other factors.
