8.A. BUSINESS OFFICE REVIEW PROPOSAL
Description:
The administration solicited proposals from qualified professional service providers to conduct an independent review of the District’s Business Office operations. The proposed services include an evaluation of the department’s organizational structure, staffing and responsibilities, operational processes and procedures, financial practices, internal controls, technology utilization, and overall efficiency and effectiveness. The review is intended to provide the District with observations and recommendations to assist with future operational, organizational, and staffing considerations. Following the October 13, 2026, Work Session discussions, the decision was made to use PASBO for the review.
Language has been added to the PASBO proposal to reflect the inclusion of the Board in the process, as requested in the October 13, 2026, Work Session. The cost of these services will be covered by the surplus of funds that resulted from the reduction in costs in the transition from BoardDocs to Keystone Agenda for the 2026-27 school year.
