Effective January 19, 2023, in accordance with School Board Policy 006-BOG-1, all Board / Business Meetings of the Dallastown Area School District will be live streamed.

• Live stream will only be available at the DASD Board of School Directors Monthly Board / Business Meetings where deliberation and action take place.
• There will be no video recording, only live streaming.
• Projection of the stream will include the projection of the agenda and documents with the featured "speaker view" of the Board in the corner of the screen.
• A disclosure will be stated at the opening of the meeting that the meeting is being live-streamed.
• Public comment must be made in person unless the meeting is fully virtual.  DISCLAIMER:  Public comment is captured as part of the live stream and an audio recording is retained and posted on the district website for one year.
• If the Board President determines a need to host a fully virtual meeting for the Board / Business meetings or Board Workshops, Zoom preregistration is required for public comment.
• Only audio recordings will be used for reposting - there will be no retention of video/stream.  Audio recordings will be retained for one full previous school year.

Per donation policy, acceptance of check, payable to "Dallastown H.S.", in the amount of $53,730.36 representing the School District's share of the Equalization Distributions from the Gloria Waltemeyer Trust.  The funds will later be transferred to DAEF.

Coastal Biology students to travel to the Chesapeake Bay Field Station at Wallops Island, VA to complete labs and study flora and fauna from June 1, 2027, through June 4, 2027.

DPAC and ITS students to travel to Altoona Sr. High School to perform the DAHS fall play for Pennsylvania thespians and theater professionals from December 4, 2026, through December 6, 2026.

Video Production Club and all Video Classes to travel to Long Beach, CA to attend the Student Television Network Convention from March 16, 2027 - March 21, 2027.

     November 7, 2026:  Election Results are Announced at the Delegate Assembly

DASD school board directors will be discussing and casting a vote at the 10/8 Board Meeting for the candidates nominated for the positions listed below:

2027 Positions
     Matt Vannoy - Candidate for President-Elect*
     Kristy Bolte - Candidate for Vice President*
     David Hein - Candidate for Treasurer*
     Marianne Neel and Michael Faccinetto - Candidates for Insurance Trustee (choose up to two candidates)

* Any slated candidate that demonstrates exceptional leadership at the local and state level shall be considered for "endorsement" by the Nominating Committee and the determination shall be noted on the slate of candidates. (PSBA Bylaws, Section 300 - Policy 302)
