1. The Mayor will declare the meeting open. 

2. The City Clerk will call roll.  

3. The August 11th regular meeting and August 13th and August 21st special meeting minutes will be presented for consideration and possible action.

4. The August treasurer’s report will be presented. 

5. Public Comments may be heard.

6. Consideration and possible action for Interlocal Recycling Service Agreement with Antelope County for recyclable materials accepted at the Compactor will be held.

7. Appointments will be made for the following:LB840 Citizens Advisory Review Committee 1 member 4-year term and Economic Development Board 1 member, to fill an unexpired term to October 2027.

8. The Economic Development report will be presented.

8.a. Consideration and possible action for the 2026-2027 fiscal year Village of Clearwater contract will be held.

8.b. Discussion and possible action for an update on a Chamber of Commerce Agreement will be held.

8.c. Discussion and possible action for a revised Rural Workforce Housing Fund Investment Plan will be held.

9. The August Police Report will be heard.   

9.a. Consideration and possible action to accept the resignation of Officer Schroeder will be held.

10. Consideration and possible action for special designated liquor license from Fight N River II, LLC for a September 26th wedding reception will be held.

11. The City Supt.’s report will be presented.

11.a. Discussion and possible action for a fall community clean-up day for October 17th and 18th will be held.

11.b. Discussion and possible action for update on 301 J Street will be held.

11.c. Consideration and possible action for authorization to hire Gail Hurd for the Solid Waste department at $17.00 per hour following successful pre-employment testing will be held.

11.d. Discussion and possible action for Riverside Park Memorial repairs from insurance proceeds will be held.

11.e. Discussion and possible action for trees in the downtown business sidewalks will be held.

12. The New Moon Theater Liaison report will be presented.

13. Consideration and possible action for a special meeting date with the Nebraska State Historical Society to discuss the Neligh Mill will be held.

14. Bills will be presented for approval.

14.a. Discussion and possible action for Blackstrap invoices will be held.

14.b. Consideration and possible action for the fire department certificate of deposit for future equipment purchases will be held.
