1. Call to Order:"Good evening, everyone. it is now 6:30 PM on August 20th, 2026. I call this regular meeting of the Priddy ISD Board of Trustees to order. Let the record show that a quorum is present. This meeting has been duly called and notice of the meeting has been posted in accordance with Texas law, HB 1522."

4. Public Comment: The Board welcomes comments during the public comment part of the meeting. However, in accordance with the Texas Open Meeting Act, Board members cannot discuss or vote on issues not posted on the agenda. Please limit comments to three (3) minutes per speaker (BED Local). 13. Consider and possible approval of a resolution to recognize Mills County 4-H Extracurricular status

15. Closed Session: Under the Texas Open Meeting Act, Texas Government Code Section 551.001, the Board of Trustees may enter into a closed or Executive Session should they determine one is needed during the course of the meeting covered by this notice. If, during the course of the meeting, discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in a closed meeting, the Board will conduct a closed meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Government Code, Chapter 551, Subchapters D and E. Before any closed meeting is convened, the presiding officer will publicly identify the sections of the Act authorizing the closed meeting. All final votes, actions, or decisions will be taken in open meeting {BEC (LOCAL) policy}.
No one shall, without lawful authority, knowingly disclose to a member of the public this certified agenda of a closed meeting. A person who violates this subsection commits a Class B misdemeanor and may be liable to any party injured or damaged by the disclosure. Texas Government Code § 551.146(a).
