6.A. PERSONNEL
Description:
We have been actively hiring for multiple paraprofessional positions. While we have had a few candidates we were unable to onboard, we have also had several applicants who did not complete the required paperwork and ultimately stopped communicating with us. The good news is that we have received a strong number of applicants and have had many candidates to interview over the past few weeks. Overall, the increased applicant pool has been encouraging and has provided us with more opportunities to fill our open positions.

6.C.a. Approval of Contract Buyout Agreement
Description:
With the resignation of Ben Zimmermann, we reached out to CentraHealth and were able to secure Steven Wegner as a special education Case Manager at West. He worked for us this summer and did a nice job. Steven had reached out over the summer asking if we had a position and at that time we did not. Steven wants to be employed by a district. CentraHealth has a buy-out requirement. Below is the structure for CentraHealth buyouts. For Steven, the amount would be $11,827.20. We are asking the board to approve the buyout of Steven Wegner.
