Description: 

The Board will take public comment on a potential tax rate increase in accordance with Jordan School District Board Policy GP110 Public Participation at Board Meetings. Members of the public will be provided a reasonable opportunity to comment on the subject of the hearing. Those desiring to comment must sign up to speak on a sheet provided at the meeting. The opportunity to sign up will close at 8:30 p.m. 

1. Speakers will be given a maximum of three (3) minutes to address the Board until 8:30 p.m. After that time, a maximum of two (2) minutes will be allocated to each speaker.
2. Please be respectful of the amount of time allotted by the Board for comment so all patrons who wish to speak will have an opportunity.
3. Each speaker shall be heard only once during the hearing.
4. Emailed comments sent to boardcomments@jordandistrict.org by 3:00 p.m. on August 2, 2022 will be emailed to Board members and acknowledged at the meeting, but not read during the public hearing.
5. The Board reserves the right to waive or alter this procedure if in the opinion of the Board it is warranted by the circumstances.

Description:  Motion and action by the Board regarding a proposed tax rate increase; authorization to make any budget adjustments necessary to reflect the approved tax rate.
