The Board does not take action on comments or questions made during the public comment. The comments may be referred to the Superintendent for response, research, and/or recommendation. The Board asks that all speakers identify themselves, and limit remarks to three minutes. We welcome your input.

III.A. Approval of Student Discipline Hearing Officer
Recommended Motion(s):
Motion to appoint Daniel Martin, Thrun Law Firm, as Hearing Officer for the purpose of presiding over a hearing to consider the discipline of a student.

III.B. Approval of Closed Session for Student Discipline Hearing, pursuant to Michigan Open Meetings Act Section 8(1)(b).
Recommended Motion(s):
Motion to go into closed session for the purpose of conducting a hearing to consider the discipline of a student whose identity is known to the Board ("Student"), pursuant to Section 8(1)(b) of the Michigan Open Meetings Act and upon the request of the student's Parent.
