This contract covers the services of Katie Jager for the month of August as an interim, part-time accounting assistant. Her expertise has been invaluable as we work to stabilize services and move toward implementation of a shared services agreement for business office operations.

8.C.2. Katie J Contract #2
Description:
This contract covers the services of Katie Jager in the business office from September 1 through October 31. With the arrival of our new business manager in early September and the conclusion of transition support from Maner Costerisan shortly thereafter, it will be beneficial to retain Katie’s expertise during this adjustment period. She will assist with continued cleanup of financial processes and provide support as the district adapts to its new business office structure.
The contract is designed with flexibility, allowing Katie’s work hours to be scheduled as needed, under the direction of our new business manager, Kara, and myself. |

8.F. Brand Standards
Description:
This item is provided for information only and requires no Board action. Attached is the finalized Brand Standards Guide for Bloomingdale Public Schools. While the project took longer than anticipated, the result is a comprehensive guide that exceeds expectations and provides a strong foundation for our branding efforts.
This guide will serve as an essential tool as we continue building a consistent and positive identity for Bloomingdale Schools—one that promotes pride in the district and strengthens our public image. I encourage you to take some time to review the guide. We will discuss next steps in implementing and utilizing these standards during the meeting. |

8.I. Sewer Line Project
Description:
Approval of this contract with Remington Excavating will allow the district to take the first step toward ensuring that a potential future housing development on the district’s 12-acre parcel east of the Middle/High School can more easily connect to the Village of Bloomingdale sewer system. The Village has previously passed a resolution granting permission for this future tie-in.
This project involves the installation of a capped sewer pipe beneath E. Kalamazoo Street/CR 388. At this stage, no connection will be made—only the pipe will be placed and capped at both ends in preparation for potential future use. For additional context, please see the attached bid proposal from Remington Excavating and the attached briefing, which outlines the future steps (capacity study, permitting, and connection) that I believe would be required if development moves forward. |
