8.1. District Calendar 2025-2026
Description:
The district presented 158 contract days for certified teachers, which was decided on as the consensus of the committee that met on March 5th. Meetings have been held with both the elementary and secondary staff. There were a couple of teachers that were not in favor of working more days, and many others who appreciated the additional days and additional pay, as they are already working Fridays and weekends as they are. The salary table we hope to bring to the board in April was presented to the teachers so they could see what we are thinking about pay increases along with the eight days. It was stated that the pay increases are not a guarantee if the state comes back with cuts to school funding, and the calendar goes hand in hand with the salary table.
Attached are two versions of the calendar: one that will be approved; and one showing what the Inservice days could be. |
