Consent Agenda
1. Consider acceptance of August 28, 2023, Board of Directors Meeting Minutes.
2. Consider recommendation to approve the July 2023 Membership Report.
3. Consider recommendation to approve the August 2023 Membership Report.
4. Consider recommendation to approve the July 2023 Financial Report.
5. 3^rd Annual DDOT Memorial Open- The CVB Advisory Council has recommended denying funding for this event due to not having a budget and no signature on the Request for Funding Packet. The 3^rd Annual DDOT Memorial Open is scheduled to take place from October 13-15, 2023.
6. AAU Advanced State Championships 2024- The CVB Advisory Council has recommended approving funding in the amount of $2,550 to be paid out of the Coliseum made payable to the Coliseum with an additional $1,700 contingent on verifiable room nights. The event is expecting 500 local participants, 2000 regional participants, and 100 out-of-state participants. The event is expecting 200 room nights. The funding formula showed a value of $4,250 for this event. The AAU Advanced State Championships will take place from April 26-28, 2024.
7. Counter UAS Forum 2023- The CVB Advisory Council has recommended approving funding in the amount of $7,000 out of Special Events made payable to FISTA. The event is expecting 150 local participants, 25 regional participants, and 275 out-of-state participants. The event is expecting 400 room nights. The funding formula showed a value of $6,800 for this event. The Counter UAS Forum 2023 is scheduled to take place on November 1, 2023.
8. Perfect Timing Pig Sale- The CVB Advisory Council has recommended approving funding in the amount of $5,000 out of the Coliseum made payable to the Coliseum. The event is expecting 175 local participants, 750 regional participants, and 900 out-of-state participants. The event is expecting 210 room nights. The funding formula showed a value of $5,350 for this event. The Perfect Timing Pig Sale is scheduled to take place from October 20-21, 2023.
9. 2023 OK Arts Conference- The CVB Advisory Council has recommended approving funding in the amount of $10,000 to be paid out of Arts and Attraction, made payable to the Hilton. The event is expecting 150 local participants, 400 regional participants, and 10 out-of-state participants. The event is expecting 300 room nights. The funding formula showed a value of $4800 for this event. The Oklahoma Arts Conference is scheduled to take place from October 17-19, 2023.
10. School of Instruction- The CVB Advisory Council has recommended denying funding for this event due to a lack of budget and not submitting a Request for Funding packet 90 days prior to the event. The School of Instruction is scheduled to take place on September 9, 2023.
