1A. BA #2425-19 Discussion and possible action to approve the General Operating Fund (199) budget amendment of $432,168 from Assigned Fund Balance for the purchase of three walk-through metal weapons detection units for Martin High School, Nixon High School and Cigarroa High School in the amount of $324,126, in addition to a transfer-out from the General Operating Fund (199) in the amount of $108,042 and a transfer-in to the Athletics Fund (181) as a budget amendment of $108,042 for the purchase of one walk-through metal weapons detection unit for Shirley Field, contingent upon approval of Agenda Item #3.

2. Discussion and possible action to approve the recommendation or selection for the following bids, proposals, or qualifications. Purchases shall be made from appropriations in the adopted/amended budget.

2A. Dallas ISD - Central Texas Purchasing Alliance (CTPA) Contract # ER-207681 (FED): Instructional Software Licenses and Educational Consulting Services, Assessments and Other Related Services. Estimated expenditures of $300,000.

Discussion and possible action to approve the Assignment of Fund Balance of $8,831,684 and $432,168 for General Operating Fund (199), from excess revenues over expenditures for the period ended June 30, 2024, to fund budget shortfalls and for the purchase of walk-through metal weapons detection units, respectively.
