The summer months are busily spent preparing the school buildings for the new year. From painters, custodians, grounds crew, and contractors; they all work exceptionally hard to give a new feel to each school year. This summer, more projects have been accomplished than any summer in recent history. This is due to tremendous collaboration and dedication from all of the above.

3.5. Policy Approval
Discussion:
Policy revisions required by changes made during the 2024 legislative session as well as federal requirement changes have affected a large number of district policies. Two policies, in particular, student discipline and Title IX, require immediate action by the school board; therefore, as allowed by statute, an emergency approval is being recommended.
The attached Title IX policy (522) does not have a red line version due to a complete rewriting of the policy in order to meet federal regulations. Student Discipline (506) has the redline attached for your review and will be cleaned of redlines prior to posting on the district policy page. The approval of these policies are recommended.
