Retirements: Mrs. Alicia Baird, Somers Elementary Grade 3 teacher, will be retiring on June 12, 2020 after being with Somers Public Schools for 30 years. Mrs. Dolly Johnson, Somers Elementary ParaEducator handed in her retirement letter effective March 30, 2020. She been been with Somers Public Schools for almost 21 years. Ms. Irene Zytka, Somers Public Schools, Director of Curriculum will be retiring on June 30, 2020. She has been with Somers Public Schools for 5 years. Ms.Diane Jennings, Mabelle B. Avery Middle School Library Media Specialist will be retiring on June 30, 2020. She has been with Somers Public Schools for 26 years. Resignations: Mr. Jonas Putz, Somers ElementaryGrade 4 teacher has resigned effective February 29, 2020. |
