Lorenzo ISD Administration will present an update concerning our elementary school. Principal Mandy Haire will share an update with the Board addressing progress and activities up to this point, including instructional focus, teacher support and planning, and student activities.

5.d. DISCUSSION CONCERNING THE ADMINISTRATION'S PLAN TO USE BLUE BONNET LEARNING MATERIALS DURING THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR AND THE RELATED LASO CYCLE 3 GRANT.

Bluebonnet Learning are state-developed instructional materials that provide teachers with the tools to foster student success. Developed using the latest cognitive science, Bluebonnet Learning instructional materials cover 100% of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and provide a full suite of resources including scope and sequence, daily lesson plans, and student materials. All Bluebonnet Learning instructional materials are designed to be high-quality, suitable, and grade-level appropriate.

6.a. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION TO NAME THE BUILDING LOCATED AT 233 E. HWY. 62-32

Description:
Lorenzo ISD Administration will recommend that the Board of Trustees name the building located at 233 E. Hwy. 62-82. The administration will provide one or more names for consideration and ask the Board of Trustees to select one of the recommended names or ask the Board to propose and approve another name option.

Consultation in closed session with the District's legal counsel under Texas Government Code 551.071 concerning the settlement of pending litigation styled Region 17 Education Service Center, et al v. Conterra Ultra Broadband, LLC, in the 72nd District Court of Lubbock County, Cause No. DC-2022-CV-1601

6.c. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE CONTERRA SETTLEMENT:

Description:
The Board will discuss and consider approving the settlement of pending litigation styled Region 17 Education Service Center, et al v. Conterra Ultra Broadband, LLC, in the 72nd District Court of Lubbock County, Cause No. DC-2022-CV-1601.
The Board will also consider authorizing the Superintendent and the representative of the Region 17 Education Service Center, acting as fiscal agent for the Region 17 Information Network, to take any and all action necessary and execute any and all documents required to enter into and effectuate the settlement agreement in such litigation. |

6.d. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION TO ADOPT NEW BOARD BELIEFS, A NEW BOARD VISION STATEMENT, AND A NEW BOARD MISSION STATEMENT.
