Consider action to approve Apple Macbook Air M1 Chip quote - Order # AAA0263176 in the amount of $46,400 dollars
Description:
This quote is to purchase an M1 chip in order to install it into our existing student-issued Apple Macbooks. RCISD is an Apple school district. We have encountered that with state assessments, our students are unable to access state assessments. State assessments are being taken online.
The Macbooks are in working condition and meet the needs of RCISD with the exception of accessing state assessments. According to RCISD Technology department research and conversations with Apple, the M1 chip will allow our students to access the state assessments. Additionally, by installing the M1 chip into our existing Macbooks, this route would be more cost effective for RCISD. |

Consider action to approve the Colorado ISD 2023-24 DAEP Placement Agreement

Consider action to approve the revised RCISD 2023-24 School Calendar
Description:
The recommendation is to revise the RCISD 2023-24 school calendar. The revisions are to make full school days for teachers and students (originally early release days for students) on September 22nd, November 3rd, February 16th, and April 5th. The reason for the revisions is due to CTE funding and compliance with time requirements. RCISD would possibly lose funding if the days are not full school days.

Consider action to approve the RCISD 2023-24 meal pricing:
Description:
The meal prices increased for lunch for the 2023-24 school year compared to the 2022-23 school year. The lunch for students increased by 0.10 cents per meal. The lunch for adults increased by 0.25 cents per meal.
The a la carte pricing will not change for the 2023-24 school from the 2022-23 school year. |

Consider action if any, to approve the revision of K. R. Level III Grievance Board Response
Description:
Due to lack of documentation on the part of Ms. Ralph, there was one receipt that was incomplete and Ms. Ralph is unable to provide RCISD an original copy. The incomplete receipt totaled $92.72 dollars.
The RCISD Board approved to reimburse Ms. Ralph $1049.74 dollars upon hearing her Level 3 Grievance. Due to Ms. Ralph not being able to provide the aforementioned receipt, Ms. Ralph has requested if she could be reimbursed less the dollar amount on the aforementioned receipt. The original amount of $1049.74 dollars less the $92.72 dollars equals $957.02 dollars. Ms. Ralph is asking to be reimbursed $957.02 dollars.
Recommended Motion(s):
I motion to approve RCISD Board Action to revise the May 30, 2023, Ms. Ralph's Level 3 Grievance decision to reflect a reimbursement of $957.02 dollars. This motion, made by {Insert Board Member} and seconded by {Insert Board Member}, {Insert Action Result}.
