3.A. Congratulations to the Girls Track and Field Team for winning its first ever 5A Mid-Willamette Conference Team Championship. The boys captured the 3rd place spot. The Dragons qualified over 20 athletes for the State Championships in Eugene.

3.B. Whitworth attendance is holding strong at 78.2% for regular attenders (a 4.2% increase from 24 to 25) and an average daily attendance rate of 93.25%. Students celebrated with a PTC provided frozen treat on Tuesday, May 26 at lunch.

3.C. Whitworth 5th grade HOWLer Choir performed "Summer Camp, the Musical" on May 14th at DHS Bollman Auditorium for families and the community, and again on May 21st at Whitworth for all students and visitors. They were great!!! Thanks to Whitworth Music Teacher Ellen Lewing for this great opportunity, and volunteer DHS student Ethan Fetterley for their time and commitment to the HOWLer choir.

3.D. Morrison students are enjoying an exciting opportunity to learn African tribal drumming twice each week with volunteer John Tamburello and teacher Rob Harriman.

3.E. Morrison students recently enjoyed an engaging field trip to Champoeg State Heritage Area with Judy White and Rob Harriman, where they explored Oregon history, nature, and outdoor learning opportunities.

3.F. Debbie Virden recently completed a meaningful appreciation project with Morrison students that highlighted the strong relationships within our school community.

3.H. Melissa Glazner has been teaching a valuable Relationship Health class for Morrison high school students, helping students build skills connected to healthy peer relationships, communication, boundaries, empathy, and conflict resolution.

3.I. Lyle students earned a Neon Glow Dance Party as an all-school reward.
Description:
Judy White’s sewing class has provided Morrison students with hands-on opportunities to build creativity, patience, and practical life skills. Students are learning to successfully operate sewing machines as well as practice detailed hand sewing techniques while creating pillows, stuffed animals, and other imaginative projects.

3.J. Oakdale gave away 15 bikes in their annual Books for Bikes giveaway. This is an incentive program to encourage students to read at home. Local community members donated money to purchase the bikes.

3.K. Oakdale PTC held their annual Jog-a-Thon which raised $10,000!

3.L. First grade teacher Lauren Whisenhunt at Oakdale was chosen as Classroom of the Month for May by Farmers Insurance.
