2. PUBLIC COMMENTS

2.A. The public is invited to sign up and speak on matters of concern. The Board welcomes comments during the Public Comments portion of the meeting. However, in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Board Members cannot discuss or vote on issues not posted on the agenda. In accordance with board policy (BED Local), comments are limited to five (5) minutes per speaker. Sign in with the recording secretary.

3. PUBLIC NOTICE

3.A. Notice of Public Meeting to Discuss Budget and Proposed Tax Rate to be held on June 22, 2026, at 6:00 PM. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the school district's budget, which will determine the tax rate that will be adopted. Public participation in the discussion is invited.

6.D. Deliberate, consider, and take action if any, to approve using fund balance up to $300,000 to meet the required matching funds to purchase up to five (5) school buses if the district is awarded the Texas Clean School Bus Program grant. 

7. EXECUTIVE SESSION
The Board of Trustees will conduct an Executive Session pursuant to the following provisions of Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Section 551.001 et.seq.

Deliberations relating to personnel pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.074, including appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, termination, or proposed nonrenewal of probationary and term contract employees

7.A. Deliberate, consider, and take action, if any, to approve new hire(s).

7.B. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.076. Deliberation regarding Security Devices of Security Audit: Considering the deployment, or specific occasions for implementation, of security personnel, devices; or a security audit.
