Description:
EIC (LOCAL) - we would like the cutoff for class rank calculation to be at the end of the 5th six weeks grading period.
EIF (LOCAL) - we currently require students to earn one credit in addition to the number mandated by the state for graduation under the foundation program without an endorsement. Beginning with the class of 2024 (this year's sophomores), the policy requires completion of five extra credits beyond the state requirement without an endorsement. This isn't student friendly. While most kids can accomplish this, there are one to two students annually who for some reason or another cannot earn the extra credits. We would like the policy to stay as it currently is for the graduating classes of 2022 and 2023, where only one extra credit is required. We will still encourage kids to earn as many credits as they can, but this policy needs to reflect what is best for students in general. |
