Deliberation and possible action to adopt a resolution in accordance with Senate Bill 11, 89^th Legislature (2025 Regular Session), that provides for a record vote on the adoption of a school Board policy requiring every campus of the district or school to provide a period of prayer and reading of the Bible or other religious text as provided by Section 25.0823 of the Texas Education Code.

 

6. Discuss and approve District Audit Engagement Letter from Eckert & Company for the Districts audit for the year ending August 31, 2026.

7. Discuss March and April board meeting dates.

8. Discuss and approve the District Calendar for 2026-2027 school year.

9. Discuss and approve superintendent contract and evaluation.

10. Approve calendar change for early out for Middle School district track meet, early out on March 25th will now be moved to March 26th, with March 25th being a regular school day.  

11. Discuss and consider approving proposed pricing changes to Angel Protection.  

12. Discuss and approve request for proposals for UPS .

13. Discuss and approve request for proposals for abatement services at the high school.  

14. Discuss and approve request for proposal for flooring and finishing at the high school. 

15. Consider and possible approval to appoint Oralia Ybarra, Elections Administrator, to serve as Joint Elections Officer for Martin County.

17. Consider and possible approval to appoint Oralia Ybarra, Elections Administrator, to serve as Joint Early Voting Clerk for Martin County.

18. Consider and possible approval to appoint Jodi Duck, Elections Administrator, to serve as Joint Early Voting Clerk for Howard County.

19. Consider and possible approval of Resolution to conduct a joint election on May 2, 2026, with all cities and schools with territory inside Martin County and Howard County that may require a May 2, 2026, election.
