IV.A. Discussion and possible action on directions to be given to the Administration on possible changes to trustee election methods.

IV.B. The Board will review EIA (Local) Policy - Academic Achievement, Grading/Progress Reports To Parents, in first reading, pending final approval.

IV.C. The Board will consider approval of the Student Code of Conduct and Handbook for 2017-2018.

IV.D. The Board will consider approval of a Compensation Plan for 2017-2018.

IV.E. 2017-2018 Budget Discussions.

V. Closed Session:  A closed session may be held under the provisions of Texas Government Code, Chapter 551 including but not limited to Section 551.071, Section 551.072, Section 551.074, Section 551.076, and Section 551.082, and section 551.0821.

V.A. The Board may deliberate matters of Personnel, i.e. appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of a public officer or employee. (Section 551.074)

V.A.I. Teachers and Other Professional Employment Contracts.

V.B. Consultation with Legal Counsel regarding Pending or Contemplated Litigation and/ or Privileged Legal Advice. (Section 551.071)

V.B.I. Receive advice of legal counsel in Cause No. 1:17-cv-00055-BL; Niccole L., as Parent/Guardian/Next Friend of D.R., a Minor Individual with a Disability, v. Abilene Independent School District; In the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Abilene Division, including discussion of demand and options for resolution, pursuant to Texas Government Code sections 551.071, 551.0821, and 551.129.
