Harbor Freight Tools for Schools Grant - Diboll CTE- Automotive Repair intends to apply for the Harbor Freight Tools for Schools program. This recognizes outstanding skilled trades teachers and programs in public high schools in the US. Five grand prize winners will receive $100,000 with $70,000 going to the public high school teacher and $30,000 going to the individual skilled trades teacher. Twenty prize winners will receive $50,000, with $35,000 going to the public high school skilled trades program and $15,000 going to the eligible individual skilled trades teacher. If school, district and/or state policy prohibits receipt of the individual portion of prize earnings, the total amount will be awarded to the school. Winners will be announced Fall 2024.

Summer work hours will begin the week of May 27, 2024 and conclude with the week of July 29, 2024. Summer work hours are Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. with a working lunch.
