7.B. Consider and take possible action regarding the 2026-2027 “Certification of Compliance with Certain Laws Required” as mandated by TEC 39.008 as being complete and correct for submission.

7.C. Consider and take possible action regarding any Budget Amendments for the 2025-2026 school year.

7.D. Consider and take possible action regarding the Italy ISD 2026-2027 Budget. Budgets include local regular budget, debt service and school nutrition.    

7.E. Consider and take possible action on the resolution designating Melissa Gonzalez, Business Manager, as the designated officer or employee (DOE) to facilitate TNT calculations and re-adopt when there are personnel changes.

7.F. Consider and take possible action regarding the Italy ISD 2026-2027 Tax Rate and Resolution setting the Tax Rate of $1.0196.

7.G. Consider and take possible action regarding the Interlocal Agreement with the Italy Police Department and Italy ISD to provide 2 School Resource Officers (SRO) for the 2026-2027 school year at a cost of $100,221.25 plus any overtime requested by the district.

9.A. 2026-2027 renewal of Italy ISD’s continued coverage through the TASB Risk Management Fund (Fund) for Unemployment Compensation.

• To discuss and collect information related to the Superintendent’s evaluation. 
• If during the course of the meeting covered by this Notice, the Board of Trustees should determine that a closed session of the Board of Trustees is required, then such a closed session as authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Section 551.001 will be held by the School Board at the date, hour, and place given in this Notice or as soon after the commencement of the meeting covered by this Notice as the School Board may conveniently meet in such closed or executive meeting or session concerning any and all purposes permitted by the Act
